EPIC Impact — Messaging platform for mission-driven teams
leaders trained on the method
3,500+

The short version

Understaffed comms teams start every appeal, grant proposal and board report from scratch, in a slightly different voice each time. EPIC Impact turns an organisation's strategy — mission, audience, tone, key messages — into a foundation the whole team writes from, so the output is consistent whoever produces it.

How we were involved

The parts of this that were ours to solve.

01

Siloed AI tools were making it worse

The teams we were building for were not short of AI tools. They had several, each with its own voice, none of them aware of the organisation's strategy — so every tool added another version of how the mission sounded. More generation was not the answer. A shared foundation was.

02

Strategy first, then generation

Brand clarity, voice and tone, and a story framework are captured once, as structured data rather than a PDF nobody opens. Everything the platform produces is generated against that foundation, which is what makes a board report and a donor appeal sound like the same organisation.

Built around a method that already worked offline

The EPIC framework — engage, persuade, inspire, close — was a method Hailey had already taught to thousands of nonprofit leaders. Our job was not to invent it but to encode it faithfully, so the software makes the same moves in the same order that the training does.
