Workflow Readability Profile
See what is clear, fragile, missing, or still unknown across the six checks—with evidence behind the findings.
The Ratio Readability Method
For founder-led service businesses · 25–75 people
Get a practical plan that puts a stop to the chaos once and for all.
One-time assessment · Implementation optional · 14-day Worth It Guarantee
One workflow. Six checks.
A clearer place to start.
Ownership / the question
There is no agreed owner for accepting the handoff. The founder steps in when the client asks for an update.
Your assessment includes evidence and confidence behind each rating. This illustration is not a customer result.
The problem underneath the interruptions
The client approved it, but delivery hasn’t heard. The project status is scattered across three tools. The next decision waits for you, because you’re the only person with the whole story.
These are the places we investigate: where work depends on someone piecing together what happened, what matters, and what comes next.
Before you add intelligence,
make the operation readable.
Readability first. Intelligence second.
Five stages. Six readability checks. Every recommendation connected to an operational finding.
We start with you: the recurring interruptions, decisions, and work you should no longer have to chase.
Then we follow recent examples with your operations lead, from the initial request through handoffs to completion.
We apply six readability checks to each workflow, separating supported findings from assumptions and unknowns.
We assess simpler processes, clearer ownership, your existing tools, automation, and AI—in that order of consideration.
Together, we choose the first priority, identify an owner, and agree a practical starting action and review dates.
Activate means agreeing the next move and handing over the plan. Implementation is a separate choice.
The method in practice / fictional example
A founder keeps checking whether new projects have started. The CRM says “won.” Delivery is waiting for an email.
Illustrates the method, not a completed client assessment or promised result.
The customer commitment is clear. The handoff owner and source of truth are not.
Define who accepts the handoff, what information they need, and where its status lives—in the tools already in use.
Once the trigger, owner, and exceptions are clear, evaluate whether an automated notification will help.
Track missed handoffs and routine escalations to the founder against an agreed baseline.
Your roadmap and action pack
Three to five prioritized recommendations, cost estimates, and a 90-day roadmap—plus these editable materials, all included.
See what is clear, fragile, missing, or still unknown across the six checks—with evidence behind the findings.
Understand which recurring issues reach you and the ownership or information gaps keeping them there.
Explore relevant capabilities in your current software before adding another subscription.
Give your operations lead a concrete starting action or validation step, with an owner and a baseline.
Take the editable brief, provider questions, and acceptance criteria to your team, another provider, or Ratio.
Know what to measure, who owns it, and when to review progress after the assessment.
The Worth It Guarantee
Go through the assessment and final working session. If you do not believe the roadmap was worth your $1,999, email us within 14 calendar days of that session and we will refund the assessment fee in full. Keep the report and action pack. No required revision, implementation purchase, or proof of savings.
Request your refund at hello@ratio.dev. We process valid requests within five business days; bank processing times vary. The guarantee covers the assessment fee.
Your next move
For $1,999, Ratio conducts 2 separate interviews (first you and then an operations lead) and assesses up to three critical workflows. We will then deliver three to five prioritized recommendations with cost estimates, a first-action brief, and a 90-day roadmap. A final working session helps you decide how to proceed. Implementation is optional and separately scoped.
Before you book
This is designed for founder-led, project-based service businesses with 25–75 employees. You should have a recurring operational problem, an operations lead who knows the work, and willingness to consider a change over the next 90 days. We focus on up to three workflows within one business unit.
A short intake, your 45-minute interview, a separate 45-minute interview with your operations lead, and a 60-minute final session with both of you. That is 105 minutes in sessions per person, plus preparation. We review up to five relevant existing documents or examples, normally no more than 30 pages total. There is no new process-documentation project for your team.
Within five business days after both interviews and the agreed materials are complete. You receive it at least 24 hours before the final session. We confirm dates together; this is not a five-day implementation promise.
No. We consider removing unnecessary work, simplifying the process, clarifying ownership, and using current tools before recommending automation, AI, or custom development. A useful recommendation may be to validate an assumption or defer a purchase.
No. Your report and editable action pack are yours to use internally or with another provider. If you want our help, implementation is separately scoped and priced. Software subscriptions and ongoing support are separate too. We disclose our relationship to Conjuro if it is a relevant option.
We show evidence, cost estimates, assumptions, and confidence levels. Operational results depend on implementation and adoption, so we do not guarantee recovered hours or a financial return. The Worth It Guarantee protects your assessment fee if you do not believe the roadmap was worth the price.
We contact you at the email used in checkout within one business day to arrange intake and discovery, starting with you and then your operations lead. Recording and AI-assisted analysis preferences are agreed before we use them; written notes and manual analysis are available.
